Chocolate Covered Murder by Leslie Meier

I selected this book to represent the word "brown" in the Color Coded Reading challenge. A book with "Brown" or any shade of Brown (Tan, Chocolate, Beige, etc) in the title.
This cozy mystery follows Lucy Stone, a reporter for the Pennysaver, in the fictional town of Tinker's Cove, Maine.  Lucy is called out on a story about a death.  Everyone is sad that Max Fraser is dead but not surprised. Then another person is found dead.  Lucy is the second person to see the body and Max's ex- wife is arrested for the murders.
You will have to read the book to find out what happens.  It is a nice story for some Valentine's Day reading!

The author, Leslie Meier, has written 16  Lucy Stone Mysteries.  If you are a fan of Joanne Fluke's  Hannah Swensen mystery series or books by Debbie Macomber, you will love this series!

Pages: 249

I've never read a book by this author, but do have a few by Fluke and Macomber, so I need to check this series out!

Thanks for adding your link to the Foodies Read challenge!
