Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline

I really enjoyed this book. It made me cry and it made me smile.  This is the story of two ladies, Vivian and Molly.  Molly is a teenager in foster care who got caught trying to steal a copy of Jane Eyre from the library. She is sentenced to do community service. Her boyfriend's mother arranges for her to help Vivian, an old lady, clean out her attic.  As they look through each box, Vivian tells Molly the story of her life.  In some ways these women have so much in common. They both were given into care when something happened to their mothers.  Vivian got put on the orphan train and Molly was put into foster care. The Orphan Train is a true historical fact. Molly shares her story with Vivian.  I enjoyed the ending of this book!
