If you are busy like most everyone these days and don’t have time to make your own pizza it is a perk to be able to order delivery. It is now headquartered in Jeffersontown, Kentucky (my home state) near Lousville. Since its humble beginnings it has grown to the third largest take-out and pizza delivery restaurant in the world. The state of Kentucky is also known for horse racing, bourbon distilleries, corvettes, Mammoth Cave National Park, bluegrass music, and basketball. Kentucky’s nickname is the “Bluegrass State” and the state bird is the cardinal. Kentucky was the 15th state to join the Union. Bowling Green, Kentucky is the home of the Corvette and Western Kentucky University, my alma mater.
