I Want to Be a Girl Scout!
March 1, 2017 to Completion

Girl Scouts photo Girl Scouts_zpsjb8gh5k7.png

Girl Scouts is a youth organization for girls in the US and American girls living abroad. It was founded by Juliette Gordon Low and the first meeting took place on March 12,1912. Girl Scouts prepares and empowers girls through activities involving camping, community service, learning first aid, and earning badges by acquiring practical skills.

We thought it would be fun to explore Girl Scouting through books! There are 6 levels of scouting. Using one of the options below you will work your way through each level.

IMPORTANT: You must complete one level before moving on to the next.

Choose an Option
Option One: Complete 5 tasks per level (30 tasks)
**Option Two: Complete 10 tasks per level (60 tasks) My Choice**
Option Three: Complete ALL tasks per level (135 tasks)

Challenge Rules: We will observe the 125 page limit unless otherwise noted. You may combine books to reach the page limit but BOTH books must meet the requirement and be from the appropriate lists. All formats are acceptable. Re-reads are fine as long you read the entire book.

When posting updates, please include the following information: a link to the title, the author's name, and the date you finished reading the book. Post covers when the task asks for one.

**When you have completed a level, please copy and paste your update into a new message letting us know you have completed that level. **

All badge information found at Girl Scouts.Org

Happy Scouting!!
