AMMP Pacific Ocean Challenge - Ring of Fire

A Million More Pages discussion on goodreads

Pacific Ocean Challenge - 🔥Ring of Fire🔥

It's a risk being on the ship while in the Pacific Ocean - you're heading straight into the Ring of Fire!! This 'ring' is really a horseshoe - not one for luck, either. In a 40,000 km (25,000 mi) area beneath the Pacific Ocean, the ring of fire houses the most volatile of the world's volcanoes and earthquakes... All because a few tectonic plates can't get along and float together nicely!

About 90% of the world's earthquakes and 81% of the world's largest earthquakes occur along the Ring of Fire. So if you live on the west coast of North, Central or South America or the east coast of Asia or any of the Pacific islands... well you must take the threat of earthquakes seriously. You must be prepared. Are you? Would you survive?
