Adam West's popularity as a pop culture icon was so great that he wound up portraying himself in a number of roles, mostly through voice acting, one of the longest running being his role as the Mayor on Family Guy, where the lead writers went out of their way to avoid typecasting him by deliberately not making any references to Batman.: Read a book where a character is a Mayor of a town, has the ability to change their voice, or where someone goes out of their way to do something nice for someone else

After Adam West's death in 2017, Burt Ward, who played Robin, is the only surviving main cast member: Read a book that was published in 2017
