1. Apricot

Apricots originally came from China. This golden fruit has been around for more than 4,000 years. Apricots progressively made their way through the Persian Empire to the Mediterranean where they were fondly adopted. Spanish explorers introduced the apricot to the New World, and they were planted in the gardens of Spanish missions all over California. The first recorded major production of apricots in America was in 1792 south of San Francisco.

2. Asian Pear 
Asian Pears are yummy fruits that are related to apple and it is a group of pear varieties having crispy and juicy fruit. In Korea, the fruit is known as bae, and it is grown and consumed in great quantity.

3. Blackberry 
Blackberries are very dark purple with smooth and brittle skin. The blackberry fruit contains polyphenol antioxidants and it also reduces the risk of esophageal cancer. Ageing can be delayed with the help of regular consumption of blackberries.

4. Cantaloupe 
Cantaloupe fruit is also called as mushmelon, muskmelon, cantalope, rockmelon or spanspek which all together refers a variety of Cucumis melo, comes under the family Cucurbitaceae which includes nearly all melons and squashes.
Cantaloupe has lusciously rich flavor, fragrance and minimal number of calories. It is also referred to as a netted melon because it has a rib less rind with a distinct netted skin. It is generally eaten as a fresh fruit, as a salad, or custard, or as a dessert with ice cream.

5. Casaba Melon 
Casaba melons are a tremendous source of vitamin C, vitamin B6 and also a good source of potassium. It mainly helps in maintaining optimum health and weight loss.

6. Cherry 
Cherry is a fleshy stone fruit. Cherries taste best consumed "humid" from the tree. Cherries have a powerful pain relief benefits especially for runners and other athletes. It also has a considerable impact on relieving muscle and joint soreness more quickly and effectively.

7. Currant 
Currant fruits are small, rounded in shape with smooth skin which can be red, yellow, green, or black in color. Currant fruits are almost sweet in taste and also used in several food preparations.

8. Fig 
Fig fruits are in bell-shaped, with a wide, flat bottom narrowing top. When the fruit ripens, the top will bend, forming like a "neck". Figs can be of varieties of colors such as brown, purple, green, yellow or black, and vary in size. The skin is slightly wrinkled and leathery.

9. Gooseberry 
Indian gooseberry fruits are of small size and light green in color. They have 6 vertical grooves on them. The taste of the fruit can be described as strong, harsh, and rough. This fruit is round shaped with vertical stripes and has a hard seed inside.

10. Grape 
Grapes are grown for fresh eating, juice, jelly or wine. Seedless grapes are preferred for fresh eating or for raisins. Grapes have good vigor to cover trellis rapidly with thick foliage, perfect for adding some green to a home landscape. Grapes many laterals can easily and quickly spread over a fence, wall trellis, pergola, etc.

11. Guava 
Guava fruit is light yellow and blushed in the midst of pink. Guava is accessible from late spring through early fall. Guava fruits are sodium free, low in fat and calories. It also reduces the possibility of coronary heart disease. These fruits are often called as "super fruits." It is an evergreen, tropical shrub or low-growing small tree probably originated in Middle Americas.

12. Honeydew 
Honeydew is a part of the melon family which is slightly oval in shape. It is the sweetest of every melon when ripe. The flesh is usually pale green in color, while the smooth peel ranges from greenish to yellow. Like most fruit, honeydew has seeds. The inner flesh is eaten, often for dessert.

13. Huckleberry 
Huckleberry otherwise called hurtleberry is the native fruit of North America. The fruit appear in various dark colors such as red, blue and black and each berry measures 5-10mm in diameter. The fruit is completely edible and possesses a unique sweet taste.

14. Mango 
Mango fruit is one of the most trendy, nutritionally rich fruit with distinctive flavor, smell and taste. Mangos are seasonal fruits that begin in the month of May. It is a very rich source of potassium, vitamin C and E.

15. Nectarine 
Nectarines are basically the same fruit as Peaches, the primary difference is that nectarines are smooth-skinned and peaches are blurry. Nectarines are sweeter, firmer and juicier. It provides a good source of carotenes, flavonoids and potassium.

16. Papaya 
Papaya flesh is an orange color with either yellow or pink hues. Papayas bid the luscious taste and sunlit color of the tropics. Papaya also contains rich sources of antioxidant nutrients such as vitamin C & carotenes.

17. Plum 
Plums have a flabby, round shape, very soft and shiny. In the early 1900s Luther Burbank, a prolific horticulturist, crossed a partially stoneless wild plum with California French prune varieties.

18. Raspberry 
Raspberries are lower in calories, wonderfully delicious and are nutrient-dense. The most familiar type of raspberry is red-pink in color. Raspberries are solitary fruits.

19. Strawberry 
Most of the species send out long slender runners that actually produce a new bud at the extremity. The leaves typically have three leaflets, but the number of leaflets may be five or one.

20. Watermelon 
Watermelon fruit is very large, smooth and the edible part is usually red pinkish color. Watermelon is the yummy, flavored fruit and it contains 90% water that we usually have during summer in sort to keep our bodies hydrated.
