I was surprised to see these modern buildings in the town. They have done a lot of work in the area near the shore. It's beautiful, new looking and clean. I can imagine it is filled with tourists in the summer. As we drove further down the street we came across this church.
Lovely! And it's within walking distance of a lot of homes. I wonder what it looks like inside!

I think that it is time to visit Sicily again. I can't remember anything so modern when we were there in 1998.
