Approaching TaorminaTaormina is a about a hour and a half's drive down the east
coast away from where we live. It was a beautiful day for a drive.

There were tons of tourists in the town.Lots of Germans and some Americans.
We heard a couple of people speaking French.

Hi JoAnne.. we never managed to get there on our trip, but I do know that it is very very touristy and expensive, a place for the rich and famous. I hope you had a lovely time.
We only had a week, we stuck to the smaller places, feels more local.
If that was this weekend you certainly had warmer weather than here in Lazio!
