The decorated church
In this shot you can see the streets are decorated too.
The young men from the town are trying to break terra cotta pots filledwith candy. They are both blindfolded.

Watching this was great fun! Everybody was there. People were yelling directions.
There was a band playing. They even played the theme from the Godfather. I wonder if I was the only one to recognize it?? Litle P had a great time. She got to see her friends and a lot of her cousins were there. Maybe she posted a video on her blog. The King had a hard time getting home from work last night because they were taking San Biagio around the town. I'm sorry that I missed it! There were fireworks last night though we couldn't see them from where we live.

This is just the sort of thing that I would want to experience, what fun! But your mention of the Godfather theme song....what a riot!
